69 | 78 | | Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona: Section 1. Appropriations; peace officer training equipment fund; pepper ball equipment; simulators; exemption A. The following amounts are appropriated from the peace officer training equipment fund established by section 41-1731, Arizona Revised Statutes, in fiscal year 2025-2026 to be distributed to the following recipients for the following purposes: 1. $200,000 to the Flagstaff police department for pepper ball and pepper ball weapons. 2. $328,000 to the Flagstaff police department for a public safety training simulator. 3. $700,000 to the Glendale police department for two public safety training simulators. B. The appropriations made in subsection A of this section are exempt from the provisions of section 35-190, Arizona Revised Statutes, relating to lapsing of appropriations. |
