LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST SB 537, as introduced, Hollingsworth. Peace officer training. Existing law requires the Attorney General to make available to the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training the services of personnel to assist the commission in executing its duties regarding law enforcement training. This bill would make a nonsubstantive change to those provisions. Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no. State-mandated local program: no. THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 13504 of the Penal Code is amended to read: 13504. The Attorney General shall, so far as compatible with other demands upon the personnel in the Department of Justice, make available to the commission the services of  such  personnel to assist the commission in the execution of the duties imposed upon it by this chapter.
