Existing law provides parameters for the expenditure of moneys appropriated to the Department of Industrial Relations for the administration of the provisions of labor laws. THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 62 of the Labor Code is amended to read: 62. The department may expendmoneymoneys appropriated for the administration of the provisions of the laws, the enforcement of which is committed to the department. The department may expendsuch moneythose moneys for the use, support, or maintenance of any commission or office of the department. Such expenditures by the department shall be made in accordance with law in carrying on the work for whichsuchthe appropriations were made.
