 BILL NUMBER: AB 1795INTRODUCED BILL TEXT INTRODUCED BY Assembly Member Silva FEBRUARY 21, 2012 An act to amend Section 798.30 of the Civil Code, relating to mobilehomes. LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST AB 1795, as introduced, Silva. Mobilehomes: rent increases. The Mobilehome Residency Law governs tenancies in mobilehome parks, and imposes various duties on the owners of mobilehome parks and the agents and representatives authorized to act on behalf of the owners. Existing law requires the management of a mobilehome park to give a homeowner written notice of any increase in his or her rent at least 90 days before the date of the increase. This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to these provisions. Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no. State-mandated local program: no. THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 798.30 of the Civil Code is amended to read: 798.30. The management shall  give   provide  a homeowner written notice of any increase in his or her rent at least 90 days before the date of the increase.
