Existing law establishes the Department of Rehabilitation within the California Health and Human Services Agency. Existing law authorizes the department to adopt, amend, or repeal those rules and regulations as may be reasonably necessary to enable it to carry out its duties and powers, as specified. THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 19006 of the Welfare and Institutions Code is amended to read: 19006. The department may adopt, amend, or repeal, in accordance with the provisions of the Administrative Procedure Act,suchthose rules and regulations as may be reasonably necessary to enable it to carry out its duties and powers.
