Existing law establishes the system of postsecondary education in this state, consisting of 4 segments: the University of California, the California State University, the California Community Colleges, and independent institutions of higher education, as defined. This bill would express the intent of the Legislature to enact statutory changes related to postsecondary education in this state. Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no. State-mandated local program: no. THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. It is the intent of the Legislature to enact statutory changes related to postsecondary education in this state.
