Existing law creates the Motor Carriers of Property Permit Act, which provides for the issuing of permits for motor carriers of property upon the payment of a fee and proof of insurance and workers' compensation coverage. This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to those provisions. Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no. State-mandated local program: no. THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 34600 of the Vehicle Code is amended to read: 34600. This division shall be  known   known,  and may be  cited   cited,  as the Motor Carriers of Property Permit Act.
