LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST AB 513, as introduced, Jones. Professions and vocations. Existing law provides for the licensure and regulation of various professions and vocations by boards within the Department of Consumer Affairs. Under existing law, a person applying for licensure is not required to submit to any board any attestation by another person to the applicant's good moral character. This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to these provisions. Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no. State-mandated local program: no. THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 484 of the Business and Professions Code is amended to read: 484.
