Existing law authorizes the Secretary of the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation to construct and establish a state prison for the confinement of male prisoners under the custody of the secretary. THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 2045.10 of the Penal Code is amended to read: 2045.10. The  Director of Corrections   Secretary of the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation  is authorized to construct and establish a state prison for the confinement of males under the custody of the  Director of Corrections   secretary  .
