Kawamura (Sacramento County Superior Court Case No. 34-2010-80000518).(2) The sum of five hundred thirteen thousand nine hundred fifty-six dollars and sixteen cents ($513,956.16) to pay the settlement in Our Childrens Earth Foundation v. California Department of Food and Agriculture (Sacramento County Superior Court Case No. 34-2010-80000638).(3) The sum of four million four hundred thousand dollars ($4,400,000) to pay the settlement on Donna Fiery, et. al., v. California Department of Fish and Wildlife (Sacramento County Superior Court Case No. 34-2011-00095243, consolidated with Tolowa Nation, et. al., v. California Department of Fish and Wildlife, Sacramento County Superior Court Case No. 34-2012-00117161).(b) Any funds appropriated in excess of the amounts actually required for the payment of these claims shall revert to the General Fund within 45 days after final payment is made.SEC. 2. This act is an urgency statute necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, or safety within the meaning of Article IV of the California Constitution and shall go into immediate effect. The facts constituting the necessity are:In order to pay judgment and settlement claims against the state and end hardship to claimants as quickly as possible, it is necessary for this act to take effect immediately.
