Discount Prescription Drug Program.Existing law, the California Discount Prescription Drug Program, requires the State Department of Health Care Services to negotiate drug discount agreements with drug manufacturers, as specified. Existing law authorizes any licensed pharmacy and any drug manufacturer, as defined, to participate in the program. Existing law establishes eligibility criteria and application procedures for eligible Californians to participate in the program.
