(c) (1) On or before January 15 of each year, the granting entity shall provide a report to the Legislature, as part of the annual budget process, on the outcome of the use of the advance payments provided pursuant to this section.(2) A report submitted pursuant to this subdivision shall be submitted pursuant to Section 9795.(b)(d) For purposes of this section, conservation project means a conservation project that enhances climate resilience, restores watersheds, or protects and preserves natural lands.(e) This section shall remain in effect only until January 1, 2025, and as of that date is repealed, unless a later enacted statute that is enacted before January 1, 2025, deletes or extends that date.SEC. 2.
