Existing law applies provisions of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Act that pertain to winegrowers, or to the directors, officers, agents, and employees of winegrowers, to wine blenders, and to the directors, officers, agents, and employees of wine blenders, except as otherwise provided under the act.This bill would remove the agents of wine blenders from the above-described general application of winegrower provisions in the Alcoholic Beverage Control Act to wineblenders.Existing law, the Alcoholic Beverage Control Act, establishes the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control for the regulation and licensure of activities related to alcoholic beverages.
