Career technical education programs: funding.Existing law establishes the California Career Technical Education Incentive Grant Program, administered by the State Department of Education, which is a state education, economic, and workforce development initiative with the goal of providing pupils with the knowledge and skills necessary to transition to employment and postsecondary education, with the purpose of encouraging and maintaining the delivery of career technical education programs.Existing law establishes the Strong Workforce Program, which provides funding to career technical education regional consortia made up of community college districts.
