Under federal law, EPSDT services include screening services, vision services, dental services, hearing services, and other necessary services to correct or ameliorate defects and physical and mental illnesses and conditions discovered by the screening services, whether or not the services are covered under the state plan.Existing law establishes the California State Auditors Office, headed by the California State Auditor and under the direction of the Milton Marks Little Hoover Commission on California State Government Organization and Economy, with specified duties, which include, upon the request by the Joint Legislative Audit Committee and to the extent funding is available, auditing a state or local governmental agency or any other publicly created entity.
