These events may include, but are not limited to, those listed in subdivision (b) and school evacuations related to those events.(e) A local educational agency may apply for a grant within six months after the commencement of the qualifying event. Funding may be encumbered for no more than two years after receiving funds.(f) For purposes of this section, mental health services includes, but is not limited to, both of the following:(1) Accessing additional school counselors or other staff with a pupil personnel services credential on either an ongoing or limited-term basis.(2) Professional development for existing school staff to be able to provide trauma-informed care and instruction.(g) For purposes of this section, local educational agency means a school district, county office of education, or charter school.
