The bill would require the office of the Chancellor of the California State University and the office of the Chancellor of the California Community Colleges, and would request the office of the President of the University of California, to annually submit a report that compiles the collected data to the Legislature, with the first report due on or before October 15, 2023. To the extent the bill imposes additional duties on community college districts, the bill would impose a state-mandated local program.The California Constitution requires the state to reimburse local agencies and school districts for certain costs mandated by the state.
