LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGESTAB 763, as introduced, Mathis. Market milk: stabilization and marketing plan.Existing law provides for a comprehensive scheme for the regulation of market milk. Those provisions, among other things, authorize the Secretary of Food and Agriculture to formulate, administer, and enforce stabilization and marketing plans for market milk. Existing law requires the secretary, if the secretary finds that a stabilization and marketing plan is necessary, to formulate a stabilization and marketing plan for market milk and conduct a public hearing on the plan.
