Section 12805.7 is added to the Government Code, to read:12805.7. (a) (1) The Natural Resources Agency shall prepare a comprehensive, statewide inventory of the natural resources of the state and establish treatment measures necessary to protect those resources.(2) The Natural Resources Agency shall post its initial inventory completed pursuant to subdivision (a) on its internet website on or before January 1, 2023, and annual updates on or before January 1 of each year thereafter.(b) This section shall be implemented only to the extent an appropriation is made for these purposes from the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund created pursuant to Section 16428.8 of the Government Code.
