1818 Assembly of the State of Colorado, the House of Representatives2

2020 (1) That, pursuant to the provisions of section 2-2-305, Colorado4
2121 Revised Statutes, the following positions are hereby created for the5
2222 Second Regular Session of the Seventy-third General Assembly with the6
2323 monthly compensation to be paid to the persons elected or appointed to7

118109 Representatives are authorized to hire Legislative Aides pursuant to Joint34
119110 Rule 39 of the House of Representatives and the Senate. If Legislative35
120111 Aides are authorized by the Executive Committee, acting in accordance36
121112 with such Joint Rule 39, to start prior to the convening of the next regular37
122113 session, they may be paid at the rate specified in this resolution from the38
123114 date they are authorized to start.39

125116 -3- (2) That the Secretary of the Senate and the Chief Clerk of the House1
126117 of Representatives remain in such capacity after adjournment of the2
127118 General Assembly sine die until the convening of the First Regular3
128119 Session of the Seventy-fourth General Assembly in January, 2023.4
129120 (3) That the President of the Senate and the Chair of the House5
130121 Services Committee, with the authorization of the Speaker of the House6
131122 of Representatives, are hereby separately authorized to retain and hire7
132123 replacements for such employees for such period of time in the interim8
133124 between the Second Regular Session of the Seventy-third General9
134125 Assembly and the First Regular Session of the Seventy-fourth General10
135126 Assembly as they deem necessary for their respective houses; except that11
136127 the office equipment of the General Assembly and the services of such12
137128 employees shall be used only in connection with official legislative13
138129 business.14
139130 (4) That the President of the Senate and the Chair of the House15
140131 Services Committee, with the authorization of the Speaker of the House16
141132 of Representatives, are hereby separately authorized to hire such17
142133 session-only employees for the next regular session as they deem18
143134 necessary for their respective houses and who may start their employment19
