16	16		WHEREAS, Pursuant to section 37-95-107.8, Colorado Revised1
17	17		Statutes, the Drinking Water Revolving Fund (DWRF) has been created2
18	18		in the Colorado Water Resources and Power Development Authority3
19	19		(Authority) to provide financial assistance for certain drinking water4
20	20		supply projects; and5
21	21		WHEREAS, Pursuant to sections 37-95-103 (4.8) and 37-95-107.86
22	22		(4)(c), Colorado Revised Statutes, in order to qualify for financial7
23	23		assistance from DWRF, proposed projects must be included on the8

45	36		Revised Statutes, the Water Quality Control Commission (Commission)2
46	37		has developed additions and modifications to and deletions of projects on3
47	38		the Drinking Water Project Eligibility List; and4
48	39		WHEREAS, Pursuant to section 37-95-107.6, Colorado Revised5
49	40		Statutes, the Water Pollution Control Revolving Fund (WPCRF) has been6
50	41		created in the Authority to provide financial assistance for certain7
51	42		wastewater treatment system projects; and8
52	43		WHEREAS, Pursuant to sections 37-95-103 (13.5) and9
53	44		37-95-107.6 (4)(c), Colorado Revised Statutes, in order to qualify for10
54	45		assistance from the WPCRF, proposed projects must be included on the11
55	46		Water Pollution Control Project Eligibility List; and12
56	47		WHEREAS, Pursuant to section 37-95-107.6 (4)(b), Colorado13
57	48		Revised Statutes, the Commission has developed additions and 14
58	49		modifications to and deletions of projects on the Water Pollution Control15
59	50		Project Eligibility List; and16
60	51		WHEREAS, The provision of financial assistance from the DWRF17
61	52		and the WPCRF for the proposed projects will preserve, protect,18
62	53		conserve, and develop the water resources of the state; promote the19
63	54		beneficial use of the waters of the state and the protection and20
64	55		preservation of the public health, safety, and welfare; create and preserve21
65	56		jobs and employment opportunities; and improve the economic welfare22
66	57		of the people of the state; and23
67	58		WHEREAS, The General Assembly deems the additions and24
68	59		modifications to and deletions of projects on the Drinking Water Project25
69	60		Eligibility List and the Water Pollution Control Project Eligibility List26
70	61		adopted by the Commission to be in the interest and to the advantage of27
71	62		the people of the state; now, therefore,28
72	63		Be It Resolved by the Senate of the Seventy-Third General29
73	64		Assembly of the State of Colorado, the House concurring herein:30
