13-SECTION 1. In Colorado Revised Statutes, 12-245-216, repeal
14-(1)(b)(I) as follows:
15-12-245-216. Mandatory disclosure of information to clients.
16-(1) Except as otherwise provided in subsection (4) of this section, every
17-licensee, registrant, or certificate holder shall provide the following
18-information in writing to each client during the initial client contact:

50+In order for an individual to obtain a registration as a psychologist
51+candidate (PSYC), a clinical social worker candidate (SWC), a marriage
52+and family therapist candidate (MFTC), a licensed professional counselor
53+candidate (LPCC), or an addiction counselor candidate (ADDC), the bill
54+requires the individual to pass the Colorado jurisprudence examination.
55+The bill authorizes PSYCs, SWCs, MFTCs, LPCCs, and ADDCs
56+to renew their candidate registrations if they are unable to complete all the
57+post-degree licensure requirements within the 4-year time frame that a
58+registration is valid and allows candidates whose registrations have
59+expired to reapply for the registration.
60+The bill updates the definition of "practice of licensed professional
61+counseling".
62+On or before December 31, 2024,the state board of psychologist
63+examiners, the state board of social work examiners, the state board of
64+marriage and family therapist examiners, the state board of licensed
65+professional counselor examiners, and the state board of addiction
66+counselor examiners are required to begin the rule-making process to
67+align their respective rules with their respective practice acts.
68+Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado:1
69+SECTION 1. In Colorado Revised Statutes, 12-245-216, repeal2
