3535 Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado:1
3636 SECTION 1. In Colorado Revised Statutes, 22-35-110, amend2
3737 (1) as follows:3
3838 22-35-110. Exclusions. (1) The provisions of EXCEPT FOR4
3939 COURSES OFFERED BY INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION AS PART OF A5
4040 DIRECT ADMISSION PATHWAY PROGRAM INTO A SCIENCE , TECHNOLOGY,6
4141 ENGINEERING, AND MATH DEGREE OR CREDENTIAL PROGRAM , this article7
4242 35 shall DOES not apply to any course that is offered as part of a program8
4343 of off-campus instruction established pursuant to section 23-1-109 (1) to9
4444 (5).10
4545 SECTION 2. Act subject to petition - effective date. This act11
4646 takes effect at 12:01 a.m. on the day following the expiration of the12
4747 ninety-day period after final adjournment of the general assembly; except13
4848 that, if a referendum petition is filed pursuant to section 1 (3) of article V14
4949 of the state constitution against this act or an item, section, or part of this15
5050 act within such period, then the act, item, section, or part will not take16
5151 effect unless approved by the people at the general election to be held in17
5252 November 2026 and, in such case, will take effect on the date of the18
5353 official declaration of the vote thereon by the governor.19
