5248 department, in coordination with the metropolitan planning organizations,
5349 must present a report to the transportation legislation review committee
5450 that provides certain information about the mode choice targets and the
5551 entities' plans to implement the mode choice targets (mode choice
5652 implementation plans).
5753 No later than December 31, 2026, and every 5 years thereafter, the
5854 department, metropolitan planning organizations, subject transit
5955 providers, and local governments with a population of 25,000 individuals
6056 or more must each prepare a mode choice implementation plan, which
6157 must include certain information about the mode choice targets, a
6258 multimodal transportation gaps summary, and an analysis of certain
6359 projected greenhouse gas emissions.
6460 The bill also allows:
6561 ! The nonattainment area air pollution mitigation enterprise
6662 to award grants for the development of mode choice

6864 ! The multimodal transportation options fund to be used for

223219 November 2026 and, in such case, will take effect on the date of the20
224220 official declaration of the vote thereon by the governor.21
