44	40		repealed, modified, or otherwise no longer in effect, the commissioner of
45	41		insurance may adopt rules to require compliance with the
46	42		recommendations and comprehensive guidelines regarding the coverage
47	43		of those preventive services as the recommendations and guidelines
48	44		existed in January 2025.
49	45		Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado:1
50	46		SECTION 1. In Colorado Revised Statutes, 10-16-104, amend2
51	47		(18)(b) introductory portion and (18)(f); and add (18)(g)
52	48		as follows:3
53	49		10-16-104. Mandatory coverage provisions - definitions - rules4
54	50		- applicability. (18) Prevention health-care services - rules -5
55	51		definitions. (b) The coverage required by this subsection (18) must6
56	52		include coverage for the following preventive health-care services LISTED7
57	53		IN SUBSECTIONS (18)(b)(I) TO (18)(b)(XI) OF THIS SECTION in accordance8
58	54		with the A or B recommendations of the task force, recommendations9
59	55		established by the ACIP, or preventive care and screening as provided for10
60	56		in the comprehensive guidelines. as applicable IF THE A OR B11
61	57		RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE TASK FORCE , THE ACIP, OR THE12
62	58		COMPREHENSIVE GUIDELINES ARE REPEALED , MODIFIED, OR OTHERWISE NO13
63	59		LONGER IN EFFECT, THE COMMISSIONER MAY ADOPT RULES TO REQUIRE14
64	60		COMPLIANCE WITH THE GUIDELINES OR RECOMMENDATIONS THAT WERE15
65	61		IN EFFECT IN JANUARY 2025, OR THAT COMPLY WITH THE16
66	62		RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE NURSE -PHYSICIAN ADVISORY TASK FORCE FOR17

113	109		SECTION 3. Safety clause. The general assembly finds,4
114	110		determines, and declares that this act is necessary for the immediate5
115	111		preservation of the public peace, health, or safety or for appropriations for6
116	112		the support and maintenance of the departments of the state and state7
117	113		institutions.8
