6-LAWS CONCERNING EDUCATION

10-Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado:
11-SECTION 1. In Colorado Revised Statutes, 22-2-112, repeal (1)(i)
12-as follows:
13-22-2-112. Commissioner - duties - report - legislative
14-declaration. (1) Subject to the supervision of the state board, the
15-commissioner has the following duties:
16-(i) To cause to be reprinted annually laws enacted by the general
17-assembly concerning education, in accordance with the provisions of
18-section 24-1-136, C.R.S., and to furnish copies thereof to interested persons.
19-All publishing costs therefor shall be paid out of the state public school
20-fund pursuant to section 22-54-114 (5).

28-the act. SECTION 2. In Colorado Revised Statutes, 22-54-114, repeal (5)
29-as follows:
30-22-54-114. State public school fund. (5) All publishing costs
31-associated with the annual printing of the laws enacted by the general
32-assembly concerning education shall be paid out of the state public school
33-fund.
34-SECTION 3. Appropriation - adjustments to 2025 long bill. To
35-implement this act, the cash funds appropriation from the state public
36-school fund created in section 22-54-114 (1), C.R.S., made in the annual
37-general appropriation act for the 2025-26 state fiscal year to the department
38-of education for use by management and administration for reprinting and
39-distributing laws concerning education is decreased by $35,480.
40-SECTION 4. Effective date. This act takes effect July 1, 2025.
41-SECTION 5. Safety clause. The general assembly finds,
42-determines, and declares that this act is necessary for the immediate
43-preservation of the public peace, health, or safety or for appropriations for

45-institutions.
