C ONCERNING EXEMPTING 2024-25 FISCAL YEAR SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS FOR STUDENT FINANCIAL AID FROM A NNUAL APPROPRIATION REQUIREMENTS FOR STUDENT FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE . Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado: SECTION 1. In Colorado Revised Statutes, 23-3.3-103, add (23) as follows: 23-3.3-103. Annual appropriations - repeal. (23) (a) S UBSECTION (1) OF THIS SECTION, CONCERNING APPROPRIATIONS FOR STUDENT FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE DESCRIBED IN THIS ARTICLE 3.3, DOES NOT APPLY TO SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS FOR STUDENT FINANCIAL AID ENACTED DURING THE 2025 LEGISLATIVE SESSION FOR THE 2024-25 STATE FISCAL YEAR . (b) T HIS SUBSECTION (23) IS REPEALED, EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2028. NOTE: This bill has been prepared for the signatures of the appropriate legislative officers and the Governor.
