AN ACT CONCERNING DEVELOPING THE CREATIVE ECONOMY.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

Section 1. (Effective from passage) The Department of Higher Education shall study issues concerning developing the creative economy in this state. Not later than January 1, 2011, the Commissioner of Higher Education shall report on such study to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to higher education in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes.

Statement of Purpose: 

To require a study of issues concerning developing the creative economy in this state.
