AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDING FOR LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSING PROGRAMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That not later than July 1, 2010, the Commissioner of Education and the superintendent of the regional vocational-technical school system shall implement part-time licensed practical nurse programs at the regional vocational-technical schools, and that the sum of one million seven hundred thousand dollars be transferred from the Citizens' Election Fund to the Department of Education, for Personal Services, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2011, for the purpose of funding such programs.
Statement of Purpose:
To transfer funds from the Citizens' Election Fund to the Department of Education for the administration of licensed practical nursing programs at the regional vocational-technical schools.
