AN ACT CONCERNING DEFICIT MITIGATION AND THE CITIZENS' ELECTION FUND.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 157 of the general statutes be amended to provide that grant payments from the Citizens' Election Fund be suspended for two years and that any money currently in the fund be transferred to the General Fund.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce the budget deficit.
