AN ACT INCREASING THE FINE FOR WILFUL NO SALES SOLICITATION CALL VIOLATIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to increase the fine for wilful violations of section 42-288a of the general statutes to the same fine for a wilful violation of the federal Do Not Call program.
Statement of Purpose:
To standardize the penalties for wilful violations of the state no sales solicitation call statute and the federal Do Not Call program.
