AN ACT CONCERNING INTERMUNICIPAL COOPERATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to increase and establish financial and other incentives for intermunicipal cooperation and to authorize such regional entities to share future growth in state sales tax revenue and distribute any increase on a regional basis.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase regional cooperation and make government more efficient and less expensive.
