(Effective July 1, 2010) The Commissioner of Correction shall review the programs administered by the Department of Correction in order to: (1) Evaluate the cost-effectiveness and benefits of such programs, and (2) assign priority for the continued funding of such programs. The commissioner shall submit, in accordance with section 11-4a of the general statutes, findings and recommendations to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to appropriations and the budgets of state agencies not later than January 1, 2011, and annually thereafter. | |
