AN ACT CONCERNING PARTICIPATION OF NONPUBLIC SCHOOL TEACHERS IN COOPERATING TEACHER PROGRAMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That subsection (d) of section 10-220a of the general statutes be amended to allow certified teachers at nonpublic schools seeking a professional educator certificate to participate in a cooperating teacher program, provided funds shall not be paid as reimbursement to the nonpublic schools employing such teachers for such professional development activities.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow nonpublic school teachers in Connecticut to receive a professional educator certificate.
