AN ACT PERMITTING SUSPENSION OF PRIVATE PASSENGER MOTOR VEHICLE INSURANCE COVERAGE BY ELECTRONIC MAIL.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 38a-371 of the general statutes be amended to allow an owner of a registered private passenger motor vehicle to notify the insurer of such vehicle via electronic mail of such owner's request to suspend insurance coverage for such vehicle.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow an owner of a registered private passenger motor vehicle to suspend insurance coverage for such vehicle by electronic mail.
