AN ACT CONCERNING INFLUENZA VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS FOR CHILDREN IN DAY CARE FACILITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 19a-79 of the general statutes and section 19a-87b of the 2010 supplement to the general statutes be amended to provide that the parent or guardian of a child attending a day care facility shall retain the authority to decide whether such child is vaccinated against influenza.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow the parent or guardian of a child attending a day care facility to make the determination as to whether the child will be vaccinated against influenza.
