AN ACT CONCERNING THE JEOPARDY COLLECTION OF TAXES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
To amend section 12-163 of the general statutes to require tax collectors to inform a taxpayer subject to a jeopardy tax collection of the reason for and justification of such collection.
Statement of Purpose:
To require tax collectors to inform taxpayers of the reason for and justification of a jeopardy tax collection.
