| 25 | 25 | That the general statutes be amended to (1) require the Siting Council to compare an applicant's proposed site for an electric distribution or telecommunications facility to alternate sites proposed by the municipality by evaluating the environmental impact, impact on the local viewshed and overall functionality of each proposed site, and (2) provide that such council shall accept the municipality's proposed alternate site unless the council finds that such site is substantially inferior to the site proposed by the applicant. | |
