AN ACT CONCERNING AFFORDABLE HOUSING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 8-30g of the general statutes be amended to require developers to (1) produce evidence that a proposed affordable housing development will not result in harm to the environment, and (2) demonstrate how such development will be connected to mass transit and commercial areas.
Statement of Purpose:
To require developers proposing to construct affordable housing to demonstrate that such development (1) will not result in harm to the environment, and (2) will be connected to mass transit and commercial areas.
