AN ACT CONCERNING THE AWARD OF RIBBONS AND MEDALS TO VETERANS FOR SERVICE IN TIME OF WAR UPON HONORABLE DISCHARGE OR RETIREMENT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 27-73e of the general statutes be amended to provide that the ribbon and medal awarded to each eligible veteran for service in time of war shall be presented to such veteran at the time the veteran retires or is honorably discharged from service in the armed forces.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow an eligible veteran to be presented with a ribbon and medal for service in time of war upon retirement or honorable discharge from the armed forces.
