AN ACT ELIMINATING CERTAIN EXEMPTIONS UNDER THE CONNECTICUT WATER DIVERSION POLICY ACT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 22a-377 of the general statutes be amended to eliminate the exemption under the state's water diversion policy act for diversions within, extensions and relocation of water supply system distribution mains.
Statement of Purpose:
To require the registration and permitting of diversions within, extensions and relocation of water supply system distribution mains.
