AN ACT CONCERNING PRESCRIPTION DRUG COVERAGE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require insurers and other entities that deliver, issue for delivery, renew, amend or continue individual or group health insurance policies in this state that provide coverage for prescription drugs to provide coverage for a ninety-day supply of such drugs, provided such supply is prescribed by such insured's treating health care provider.
Statement of Purpose:
To require insurers and other entities that deliver, issue for delivery, renew, amend or continue individual or group health insurance policies in this state that provide coverage for prescription drugs to provide coverage for a ninety-day supply of such drugs.
