AN ACT INCREASING PAYMENTS IN LIEU OF TAXES TO MUNICIPALITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 12-19a of the general statutes, concerning payments in lieu of taxes for state-owned property, and section 12-20a of the general statutes, concerning payments in lieu of taxes for colleges and hospitals, be amended to eliminate provisions concerning proportionate reduction in any fiscal year.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase amounts paid to municipalities for payments in lieu of taxes for state-owned properties, colleges and hospitals.
