AN ACT CONCERNING EXPEDITED LICENSING PROCESSES FOR ESTABLISHED CHILD DAYCARES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 19a-79 of the general statutes be amended to provide the Commissioner of Public Health with discretion to determine whether a new initial licensure application shall be required when a previously licensed day care provider seeks a change in its location, operator or ownership structure.
Statement of Purpose:
To facilitate and expedite the administrative process involved when a previously licensed child day care center seeks a change in its location, operator or ownership structure.
