AN ACT CONCERNING THE ADMINISTRATION OF MEDICATIONS IN ASSISTED LIVING FACILITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 368bb of the general statutes be amended to permit certified nonlicensed personnel working at assisted living facilities to administer medication to a resident if such administration has been approved by a licensed physician.
Statement of Purpose:
To permit certified nonlicensed personnel to administer medication to residents of assisted living facilities if prior approval has been provided by a licensed physician.
