2121 AN ACT CONCERNING SALES TAX EXEMPTIONS FOR THE PURCHASE OF HYBRID PASSENGER CARS AND HIGH MILEAGE MOTOR VEHICLES BY MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES AND VETERANS.

2323 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2525 That section 12-412 of the general statutes be amended to extend the sales tax exemptions for the sale of any hybrid passenger car that has a United States Environmental Protection Agency estimated highway gasoline mileage rating of at least forty miles per gallon or the sale of any passenger motor vehicle that has a United States Environmental Protection Agency estimated city or highway gasoline mileage rating of at least forty miles per gallon to any member of the armed forces or veteran who was deployed during the period when such sales tax exemptions were available.
