23 | 23 | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: | |

25 | 25 | That chapter 319a of the general statutes be amended to require a foster family, as defined in section 17a-93 of the general statutes, to place ten per cent of each payment received from the Department of Children and Families for the care of a foster child into a savings account under the name of the child for whom the payment is issued. If a foster family receives a single payment for the care of multiple foster children, the foster family shall place an amount equal to ten per cent of the payment that would have been issued for each foster child individually into separate savings accounts for each child. | |
