AN ACT CONCERNING CERTIFICATION FOR SCHOOL READINESS PROGRAM TEACHERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 10-16p of the general statutes be amended to require that all individuals with the primary responsibility for a group of children hold certification pursuant to section 10-145b of the general statutes with an endorsement in early childhood education by January 1, 2018.
Statement of Purpose:
To require all teachers of school readiness programs to be certified by January 1, 2018.
