AN ACT CONCERNING THE THRESHOLD FOR STATE REIMBURSEMENT FOR SPECIAL EDUCATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That subsection (b) of section 10-76g of the general statutes be amended to reduce the reimbursement threshold for special education costs in the fiscal year ending June 30, 2015, and each fiscal year thereafter, to four times the average per pupil cost.
Statement of Purpose:
To assist municipalities in funding special education.
