AN ACT CONCERNING THE REFORM OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 10-16b of the general statutes be amended to expand physical education to include activities such as aerobics, dance or any other activity that may encourage students to participate in physical education.
Statement of Purpose:
To combat childhood obesity by expanding the activities that may be included in physical education class.
